Service Beyond My Expectations

Recently
I had my water pump and serpentine belt replaced by you on very
short notice. I'm from a small, rural area and am usually very
disappointed with business transactions here. I was so pleasantly
surprised by the level of service from Rising Sun from beginning
to end! I appreciated the prompt response to my inquiry, the
appointment I was able to get immediately, the shuttle service
directly to the University, the quick turnaround on my vehicle,
and the very friendly and helpful interactions with everyone
working there. I've had no complaints with the repairs and the
price was very reasonable. I hope I don't have more car trouble,
but if I do I would not hesitate returning to Rising Sun Motors!
I will happily recommend you to friends and colleagues in the
area, in fact, I already have! Thank you for bringing small
town virtue to big city business.

Great service

After
almost a year in the DC metro area, I have finally found a place
that I feel comfortable having my car serviced -- Rising Sun
Motors. I appreciate that they provide overnight drop and shuttle
service from the metro to make the process of getting my car
serviced fit my busy schedule. The prices were reasonable and
they outlined current issues with my vehicle, making themselves
available to answer questions. They also told me which issues
required immediate attention and which would just help the longevity
of the vehicle. I see why this place is so highly rated.

Good
people, good service

I
got my oil changed there last week - my first time using Rising
Sun, but I can tell it's a good place. The people there were
very friendly and they got the job done quickly, and to top
it off, it only cost about twenty bucks (they have a discount
for first-time customers). I can see why others have given them
5 stars, and I agree.

Great, convenient, fast, high quality service

In
a city full of businesses that could care less about what customer
service is, Rising Sun delivered exceptional service in a very
timely manner. I received same-day service to replace my clutch
cylinders on my Honda Civic at a cost that was about 30% cheaper
than what the competition wanted me to pay (without the great
service). Friendly faces and great communication throughout
the process. Would definitely go back.

Honest
and Skilled

Rising
Son Motors have been taking car of our cars for more than 20
years now. In more than 40 years of auto ownership, I have not
found, and could not ask for, a better group. They have always
been able to fix even our most aging (21-year old) vehicle;
they are honest and reliable; they are reasonably price. On
top of that they are really likeable people.

Best Repair Shop in College Park Area

I
have a Honda Civic with nearly 100k on it and have used Rising
Sun for everything over the last few years. I went to them on
a friend's recommendation and have been overwhelmed with the
quality of my experience. Work I've had done: 30k service, oil
changes, fuel system flush, brake pad replacement & MD inspection.
All work was done same-day and the friendly staff was happy
to explain everything before the service was completed. At no
point did I feel that they were recommending unnecessary work
and all prices were well within what the dealership would have
charged. Not the cheapest place in town - but the customer service
is superb and they stand behind their work. Try getting that
at the local Honda dealership - but that's another story. Highly
recommend this place - I mean, they even send you cute notes
after every visit to make sure you're happy with the service.
Their hours are not stellar - no weekends, but their key drop
makes it easy to leave the car before work, and pick it up when
it's convenient.

One
of my endeavors during the past was working at a Toyota dealership.
It was that experience that made me a life long Toyota owner who
firmly believes in driving a car until it falls apart. So Toyotas
have been our only cars for 27 years. During my time spent at
the dealership I became acquainted with Lee, a Toyota Master Mechanic,
who left the dealership and opened his own shop a few years after
I had departed.
Even
though I spent over 17 years working at a national auto service
chain, with the exception of tires, oil changes and some other
routine maintenance, he was the only mechanic who ever serviced
any of our cars. He kept two Celica's running to over 150,000
miles until rust became the enemy and contributed to the excellent
condition of my current Toyota, a 93 Camry that is now approaching
300,000 miles.
Unfortunately
Lee retired last fall and I found myself searching for a reputable
and qualified mechanic to keep my Camry running. To be honest,
I really didn't think I'd find someone as good as Lee. It was
hit or miss for a few months until I thought I'd found an adequate
replacement. But on the second visit, to have my air conditioner
checked, they kept my car for a week before informing me they
could not service my AC because of the old Freon system. So I
began my search again.
Having
driven past Rising Sun Motors for years in both locations and
decided I had nothing to lose by having you diagnose the problem.
Two days later, my air conditioning was fixed. To be honest I
had a difficult time rationalizing the cost of the repair in relation
to the age and mileage on the car. But as I said, I believe in
driving a car until it dies. And since mechanically the car is
in exemplary condition. I replaced the air conditioning unit and
at the same time found a new service center for my repairs.

for the speedy service and the outstanding line of communication
while my car was repaired. Of course now I expect you to keep
my Camry running until it at least reaches 500,000 miles
